Hi, I am Barnet.

I was brought into the sanctuary as the person caring for me no longer had any time for me. I was brought in with another guinea pig. We were both entire males on arrival to the sanctuary. We were not getting on together so we were split up. We both began to thrive once living separately. After a couple of weeks we had settled into sanctuary life. Once we were settled we were both neutered. After a time we were bonded back together, but sadly we were still not happy living together so we were split up and it was decided it best for us to be rehomed separately, to go to live with a female or multiple female guinea pigs. So the quest begins to find my female friend or friends!

At first I was quite nervous. Over time I have learnt to trust my carers and I have become very confident! I enjoy lots of fuss and I am very vocal when I know it is feeding time. I like to squeak and run around my carers feet reminding them that I need my excel pellets and fresh vegetables straight away! I also like to sit on my carers foot when my enclosure is having a daily clean.

I have a nice soft bed that I like to lounge around in. I love to chew on my willow toy balls, mini hay rounds and run in and out of tunnels.

I really do need a friend or two though, as I would love to have mates to play with and snuggle up to.

If you feel that you could offer me my dream home then please contact the sanctuary for more details.

I can live with children 5 plus years.
