Hi!

My name’s Patch!

I have stayed at the Sanctuary since 2019, when I had to return after having behavioural issues in the home I had been adopted to in 2013.

Since becoming a resident I have settled in to the life quite easily. I get startled at loud noises very easily so my carers always make sure my surroundings are as calm and quiet as they can be kept.

After having multiple rehoming attempts, because of my teethy tendencies, the decision was made for me to stay here.

I make sure to keep them on their toes though!

I’m your typical Terrier when it comes to finding treats, and things I shouldn’t have my paws on!

I love my treats and will do almost anything to get more, but I won’t be tricked into doing something I don’t want to!

I absolutely love rolling around in the grass, it’s so much fun! sometimes I find smelly spots to roll in on my walks; my carers are rarely pleased about that!

Because of my history with biting, I haven’t been the easiest dog to meet with new people, but once they prove to be calm (and holding a load of treats) I’m quite accepting.

I have had quite a few issues regarding my teeth, and because of this I have had to have some of them removed to prevent pain from building up in my mouth.

Since having those pesky teeth removed I’ve been loving eating up whatever I can find, it’s rare that I come upon something I can’t get into my tummy!

Please Sponsor Me

So that I can keep giving my humans sooo many kisses, as well as playing tug of war with them whenever I want.

To help me continue finding new ways to make my carers think twice about letting me near a stinky spot in the field.

For me to carry on doing my crazy zoomies around the room when I get excited with my carers.

And so that I can live in peace with the people, and place that I love.
