My story so far…
Hellooo! My name is Berry 🐾🍓
I came to the sanctuary back in September after I was found wandering around the sanctuary car park looking a bit lost. I was wearing a little red collar and had a round tummy, at first everyone thought I might be pregnant, but after a closer look, it seemed I’d recently had kittens. My carers think I may have been left behind on the sanctuary grounds, but sadly no one came forward after an appeal for information, so my past is a bit of a mystery.
Since arriving, I’ve settled in so nicely and have shown just how happy I am to be somewhere warm, safe, and full of love. My carers say I’m a very sweet and friendly young girl who absolutely adores cuddles and a cosy lap to snuggle into. I sometimes get a little dribbly when I’m being fussed over, and I might give the occasional gentle love nip when I get extra happy and excited!
I can be a bit wary and worried in certain situations, such as with loud noises, so I would love a calm, quiet home where I can feel safe and comfortable. I’m not too sure about teaser toys yet. My carers think I’m just not used to them, but I do enjoy playing with smaller toys now and then. Mostly, I’m a calm, gentle girl who’s happiest relaxing in my cat tree or soaking up cuddles with my favourite humans.

Home I am looking for…
I’m looking for a home with humans who are around a good amount of the time, as I’m such a loving girl and wouldn’t be happy being left alone for long periods. I just adore company and affection!
I could live with sensible older children 10+, who understand that I sometimes need a little space when I’m feeling unsure. I’ve met a few other cats here at the sanctuary and whilst I can be a bit wary at first, I’m also curious enough to say hello. I could happily live with another calm, gentle cat who would give me my space when I need it.
I’m not a fan of dogs, so I’d prefer a dog-free home. Honestly, I’d be perfectly happy as the only pet too, that way, I can soak up all the love and attention for myself!
I could happily live as an indoor only cat, as long as my new humans make sure I have plenty of toys, scratching posts, and cat trees to keep me entertained and happy. I could alternatively have outdoor access after a settling in period of at least eight weeks.
