My story so far…

I was around 4-5 months old when a kind lady found me in her garden trying to escape a number of entire male cats after me! It was very scary and the lady rescued me and provided safety for me in her care. She had previously helped strays before that the sanctuary took in so she contacted them about me and I was placed on their waiting list to come in whilst she had me spayed (this was urgent in case I had been caught pregnant). She got me vaccinated and microchipped too. I arrived at the sanctuary early May and have settled in very well.

When my rescuer found me I was very nervous and wary of humans and she took time to build trust with me. I soon started to gain confidence and enjoy some fusses. Since being at the sanctuary, I have shown that although I am still wary and timid, I am also super sweet and loving too. I just need to be approached in a gentle and calm manner to feel comfortable enough to come out of my shell. It really doesn’t take long for me to be purring away and rubbing around you for more loves. I even enjoy a lap cuddle too.

I am still only a kitten and this shows with how playful I am. I can keep myself entertained with my toys and my carers often see me having a crazy play in my pen! I have lots of energy! I enjoy the humans playing with me too!

Home I am looking for…

I could live with sensible children 12+ years old but will still need a nice quiet and calm home.

I have shown I am quite traumatised around cats due to my past experiences with other cats and although my carer has tried to socialise me with them, I really do not like being around them and get very upset and defensive. Due to this I will be best being rehomed as an only cat.

I could possibly live with a calm cat friendly dog though.

I could be homed as indoor only in a home with sufficient space, plenty of enrichment and someone home enough to keep me company.

A home with a catio or cat proofed garden would be a bonus!

Alternatively I could eventually be allowed ‘safe’ outdoor access but MUST remain strictly indoors for at least 4 months to give me time to settle. Must be in a very quiet area not on or near any busy/main/fast roads or railway lines for my own safety.

(Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets)

Diet..

I am currently fed wet and dry kitten food. I have scrumbles kitten dry and whiskas kitten wet food. It is advised to feed at least a good quality dry food. It is recommended that I stay on the current food I am on whilst I settle in a new home.

Medical history…

I have had another recent check up at the vets and they noticed I have some gingivitis already at my young age so It is likely I will be prone to dental disease and require a dental/s in the near future. Dental disease is common in cats but sometimes cats require treatment at a younger age (This is now a pre-existing issue). There are plenty of ways to help with some home dental care. This will be discussed in detail with a potential adopter

I am otherwise a healthy young girl and have no other current health concerns.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
