Indoor-only or outdoor access? Either….We could live as indoor only cats OR have access to outdoors. If indoors, we will need lots of enrichment, a Catio or cat proofed garden would be a bonus! If going outside, we will need to be kept indoors until we are at least 10 months of age
My story so far…
Some of you may remember us, we are two of the three kittens that were found dumped in a plastic box outside some shops back in February, our finder found us and took us to the sanctuary where they knew we would get the care we deserved. There was 4 of us but sadly upon discovery our finder opened the lid slightly to see what was inside and one of us ran out and sadly despite our carers best efforts there were just no sightings to be reunited.
We were severely malnourished so we were taken straight into a foster home with one of our carers so that we could have closer monitoring and so we can be fed more frequently to help us build up some strength and gain weight. Our bad luck didn’t stop there… After a few weeks of being in foster our foster mummy knew something wasn’t quite right when we kept having loose stools, faecal samples were taken which later showed that we had a nasty parasite called giardia.
The decision was made for us to come back to the sanctuary where they could do stricter cleaning to help fight the giardia quicker! After some horrible medicine for a couple of weeks we soon got the all clear for this and were on our way to finally being able to start our vet work!
I Bingo can be a little bit wary at first but it really doesn’t take long for me to gain your trust, my sister Bluey is much more confident in meeting new people. We are a very sweet pair that just loves to give cuddles and be parrot cats! Once bonded with you we love nothing more than plopping onto a lap for some cuddles. We will accept being picked up however we are very wiggly and won’t stay there for very long, we much prefer cuddles on the floor and us to climb onto you instead!
We have such high energy and will spend hours doing zoomies and having a play, anyone that adopts us need to be prepared for minimal quiet moments, my carers say we will bring such joy and entertainment to somebodies home. We love to be with our bigger brother Bandit and could be rehomed as a trio if someone out there was prepared to take us all on.
Home we are looking for…
We must be homed together as we are a bonded pair, We can go to a home with other young cats that will tolerate our playful ways. We would absolutely love to be homed with our bigger brother Bandit as a trio if someone out there is looking for 3 loveable or mischievous cats then we could be the trio for you, but understand this is a BIG ask so isn’t manditory.
We are a little nervous initially more so Bingo for this reason we would be better suited to a home with older children 8+ only who understand when to give us space. Our ideal home would be an active home with lots of space where we can burn off our energy and where we will get plenty of human time for cuddles and play.
Unfortunately we were very fearful of dogs and completely freaked out so for this reason we couldn’t be homed with a dog as they would cause us too much stress.
We would be happy as indoor-only cats, as long as our new family provides us with plenty of enrichment, including toys, puzzle feeders, scratching posts, and cat furniture to keep us entertained. After all, we don't know any different! We could also enjoy access to the outdoors, either through a secure catio, a cat-proofed garden, or free outdoor access when we are old enough. If we are to have free access outdoors, we will need to remain indoors until we are at least 10 months old, which means around another 5 months indoors.
Please note- Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets.
If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.
Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
Medical History…
We are now a healthy kittens with no lasting health concerns.
When we first arrived at the sanctuary we suffered with poorly tummies, after some tests it was discovered that we were suffering from a nasty parasite called Giardia. After some medication we were given the all clear.
We haven’t had any other health issues since being at the sanctuary and now have a full clean bill of health
