My story so far…
Hello my name is Clover
I am a beautiful, loving friendly young girl looking for my TRUE forever home now!
I originally came into the sanctuary in January after I was surrendered due to personal family circumstances which were no fault of my own. I was rehomed in March but was returned to the sanctuary In early June after my new owner felt she could no longer care for me. My carers were disappointed when I returned but soon realised it was in my best interests as important advice was unfortunately not followed. I had gained 1kg in weight after I had been put on a poor diet. I have already lost most of this weight and I am looking much healthier again!
I was quite unsettled and nervous for a week when I originally arrived, but when I came back It didn’t take me too long too settle as I knew where I was and was familiar with the carers and volunteers.
Although I can initially be a little bit shy, I soon warm up to people and show I can be quite a confident girl. I am very sweet and friendly and adore affection. If I am not in the mood I will tell you to leave me with a gentle nip or paw tap. I am quite a calm young girl but I do enjoy some time out of my pen to play a bit and chase my toys or even the flys up and down the cattery corridor. I also enjoy jumping onto the shelves in the social pen too. I then enjoy being back in my pen enjoying the comforts of my cosy bed. Oh and I also like to greet people with head bumps and give kisses!
I am semi long haired and have some extra floof so I will need my new humans to keep on top of grooming my beautiful coat.
I am a healthy young girl and currently have no health concerns. I am only very young so as beautiful as I am I need the right home to ensure I have a stable forever home.
Home I am looking for…
I would be better suited to a home with slightly older children 8+ years that have are used to cats and will be gentle, kind and caring with me.
I am really not keen on other cats so must be the only cat in my new home.
I have been tested around dogs and I was quite brave and interested so could possibly live with a calm cat friendly dog.
In my past homes I have only usually ventured into the garden a little as I am very homely and prefer being indoors mostly. I could therefore live happily as an indoor cat in a spacious home with lots of enrichment. I could still alterntively be homed to have safe outdoor access after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. This is to make sure I am settled in my home and bonded with my new humans before being allowed outside.
I will need my new home to be well away from any main/busy roads and railway lines for my own safety. Home and Road/environmental checks apply.
(Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets)
Diet...
I am currently fed a mix of wet and dry food- James wellbeloved/Scrumbles dry and wet foods- Sheba gourmet wet food.
Medical history…
I am a healthy girl with no health concerns.
If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.
Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
