My story so far…

Hello I'm Coco

I came into the sanctuary after I was surrendered by my previous owner due to a change in their circumstances and through no fault of my own.

I am a very friendly loving boy. I enjoy affection and sometimes cuddles too! I can be playful and inqusitive but I am also a chilled and placid boy too. My previous owners said I am a very sweet, friendly loving boy and enjoyed lots of attention. I am confident and sociable with people I meet. My carer says I am a very sweet natured and gentle boy.

I am a beautiful big boy with long fur so will need my new humans to keep on top of grooming me to prevent matting. I am very good allowing humans to brush me!

Home I am looking for…

I could happily live with young gentle children 3+. I am such a sweet natured boy and will fit in well with a family.

I seem to be okay around calm, placid cats and tend to just ignore them so I could potentialy live with another cat if they were calm and friendly. I would be happy as an only cat though. I am also okay around calm dogs so could possibly live with a calm cat friendly dog (proof of neuter and vaccinations would be required for exisiting pets where applicable).

I would enjoy safe outdoor access again after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. This is to make sure I am settled in my home and bonded with my new humans before being allowed outdoors. A home with a catio or cat proofed garden would also be acceptable! This must already be in place to ensure I will get outdoor time.

Home and Road/environmental checks apply.

(Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets)

Medical history…

I have had a check up at the vets and the vet could hear I had a very low grade heart murmur (grade 1). The vet is not concerned due to how low the murmur was but would advise my new humans to ensure this is rechecked by a vet when I go for my yearly booster vaccinations (Please note-This is now on my veterinary record as pre-exisiting so an insurer wont cover any issues that may occur relating to my heart murmur in the future).

In my previous home, I only visited the vets for a few minor issues that resolved. I am otherwise a healthy young boy.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
