Indoor-only or outdoor access? - Milo would prefer safe access to outdoors in his forever home, as this is what he has always been used to. He will need to be kept STRCITLY indoors for at least 8 weeks to allow him time to settle into his new home and get to know his new humans.
My story so far…
Hi everyone, my name is Milo. I’m a little bit older than most of the other cats on here looking for a home, but please don’t let that put you off. Give me a chance and read all about me first!
I’ve had a tough couple of years if I’m honest and am just really hoping to finally find somewhere to spend the rest of my life- being cared for and loved, somewhere I don’t have to worry about feeling safe. I had a lovely home where I was loved dearly, but sadly I got a bit lost one day when I was out having an adventure! I was actually then missing for a whole year before finally being picked up by a kind lady who scanned me for my microchip so that I could finally be taken back home! This was back in May 2025, so I settled back in at home and thought I could finally be happy again, but sadly my humans had to move home and they couldn’t take me with them.
So, once again I find myself without a home. I really didn’t think it would happen to me again, especially so soon after finally getting back to my home and family! Ah well, here we are.
I am trying to be positive as I know that my purrfect humans are out there searching for me. I really do hope they will read this and come to find me. I’m waiting…
Home I am looking for…
I am a very, very loving boy who really does love human interaction! In fact, my foster mom says that I don’t know the meaning of spatial awareness. How rude! Although, I suppose I am a bit in your face- literally. But I just like to be close and feel safe. So, if you want to give me a home then you need to be prepared to let me sleep in your bed, and especially let me have cuddles right on your chest as this is my favourite thing ever! If you don’t want a needy cat, then please move on because I want someone who will love me just as much as I love them! Although, I will let you know with a gentle slap if I want you to leave me alone- we all have boundaries after all…
I have previously lived with another cat and am currently living with cats in my foster home, however I do like my own space and very much prefer to be the centre of attention for the humans. So, I think in my forever home, I would like to either be the only cat or perhaps live with an older, quieter cat who will be laid-back about me sharing their home and won’t bother me too much (and I will return this favour). Definitely no in my face young cats who will annoy me and steal all the spotlight though!
I have previously lived with a dog, but recently haven’t been around any, so would like there to be no dogs in my next home as I might get worried around them.
I would prefer a nice calm and quiet home, so wouldn’t want to live with any young children. Sensible children who will understand my behaviour and needs and are aged 12+ only please.
I have always had access to outside to go on little adventures, so I would like to be able to go outdoors in my new home. I will need to be kept STRICTLY indoors for at least 8 weeks as an initial settling in period, while I settle into my new home and get to know my new family.
*PLEASE NOTE - Milo is currently living in a foster home, so any meets with potential adopters will take place in his foster home (not far from the sanctuary). However, the adoption process will remain the same as normal other than this. Feel free to email or call us if you have further questions regarding this.
Medical history…
I am a happy, healthy boy and have recently had a full health check at the vets- they told me there were no worries and I am perfect (of course).
