My story so far…

Helloooo my name is Peter Parker

I have been at the sanctuary for a whole year now watching so many other cats go home whilst I watch and wait. I came into the sanctuary in November last year after I was found roaming around the sanctuary premises (entire and not chipped). It is suspected that I may have possibly been dumped here but could have strayed.

I am a very fun and friendly boy and I enjoy affection on my terms. I will gently tell you with a little nip if I have had enough. I am a very very playful boy and love playing with lots of different toys. I love most toys and will happily keep myself occupied playing on my own but I equally enjoy the humans playing with me too!

Due to being an ex stray I am very food orientated. Potential adopters will need to be prepared to teach and train me out of any naughty habits around food. With plenty of interaction and enrichment in a loving home, this behaviour will lessen.

I am a healthy boy and have no current health concerns.

Home I am looking for…

I would be okay living with sensible older children 13+ that will respect my space and boundaries.

I could live with another cat friendly cat! I didn’t seem to like cats too much to begin with- most likely due to my hormones being entire! I disliked the cattery environment so got moved to my own room many months now which I much prefer! I am much calmer around some of the cats here so have been introduced to them and have been such a good boy. I don’t mind other cats as long as they give me space and don’t bother me too much. I’m happy to have a little play but would prefer the company of a more placid gentle cat. Equally I would be happy as an only cat.

I can live with a cat friendly dog as I am quite confident and happy around them and seem to quite like them. I enjoy rubbing around them to say hello!

I would enjoy safe outdoor access after a settling in period of at least 8 weeks indoors. This is to make sure I am settled in my home and bonded with my new humans before being allowed outdoors. Homes with a catio or cat proofed garden would also be an acceptable form of outdoor access for me too however either of these must be in place prior to adoption.

During the first 8 weeks of settling I will need to be kept away from any doors leading straight outdoors when humans are coming in and out on the chance of me trying to escape.

Home and Road/environmental checks apply.

Please note- Please bear with us, we are a small team and the cat carers deal with rehoming enquiries on top of caring for the cats. If you are successful we will be in touch as soon as possible. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
