Our story so far…
We came to the sanctuary in October last year through a lady who helps with cat rescue. Our previous owners could no longer keep us due to allergies. It is a good thing for us though because we were not in the best condition! We were riddled in fleas, had wormy bellies and needed the right nourishment! Thankfully, with the right care, it didn’t take long for us to start looking and feeling much healthier.
We settled in quickly and showed everyone just how confident and unfazed we are. We were well socialised from the start and absolutely love human company and affection. We are both very lively, energetic kittens and playful to the core! That said, I (Minnie) would say my brother Mickey takes “playful” to the next level. He can be a little mischievous and enjoys climbing onto humans, jumping about, tugging at hair, and cheekily nipping knees- one of his favourite games! Our main carer often jokes that I’m the angel and Mickey is the little devil… although he does have his angel moments too.
I can be cheeky myself, but I make up for it by being extra sweet. I love giving face kisses, washing my humans, and mixing playtime with cuddles. Together, we balance each other perfectly.
We are a bonded pair who adore cuddling up together and keeping each other entertained. We are looking for a home that understands just how special bonded siblings can be.
Home we are looking for…
We are searching for a fun and loving home with humans who would love to adopt two bonded kittens with big, cheeky, affectionate personalities and who don’t mind a little chaos along the way!
We could live with children aged 10 plus provided they are confident around cats and understand that we can be boisterous and a little nippy at times, as playful kittens often are.
We have mixed well with many of the other cats and kittens here at the sanctuary, so we could happily join a home with other young, friendly cats that will be able to happily live with two typical lively kittens. We may also be able to live with a cat friendly dog. With any existing pets, slow and careful introductions will be essential, and our carer will be happy to advise.
We would be perfectly happy as indoor cats, as long as we have plenty of space, stimulation, and enrichment to keep us entertained. Alternatively, we could eventually have access to the outdoors, but we must remain strictly indoors until at least 10 months of age for our safety.
Please note- Applicants will ONLY be contacted if you are a suitable match. Please be aware we complete our rehoming checks prior to arranging any meets.
Diet..
We are currently fed wet and dry kitten food. We have Scrumbles kitten dry and Whiskas kitten wet food. It is recommended that we stay on the current food we are on whilst we settle in a new home.
Medical history…
We are both healthy young kittens with no current health concerns.
To note- I (minnie) have a tail abnormality as I have a slight bend in my tail towards the base which is likely something I was born with. It doesn’t seem to cause me any bother but it is worth monitoring.
If you think you could offer us the home we need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of our needs and our adoption policies before applying.
Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
