My story so far…

Hi everyone, my name is Posy.

I came to the sanctuary back in March with my tiny, tiny babies who were only a week old at the time. I was originally taken to a vets as a stray while I was pregnant. My owners were found but sadly they could no longer look after me so I was signed over to the vets. It was discovered that I had been outside for the past year as I wasn’t allowed into my house. Thankfully, the sanctuary had space to take me and my babies in so that I could concentrate on looking after them and raising them into the big, strong kittens they are now!

I’ve done my job of being a good mommy and am now separate from my babies, I have been enjoying a well deserved rest and have recieved all the vet work that I needed. I have had my vaccinations and have been spayed so no more kittens for me, and I am hoping that I can enjoy my life without having to look after any more tiny cats- I love them dearly but they were a bit of a handful. They are now getting big and will be looking for homes very soon, so do keep an eye out on here for them as I do want them to find the best homes too.

For now though, let’s concentrate on me please! My carers said that I now get to be the centre of attention!

I am an extremely loving girl, who loves attention and fuss. I do enjoy lap cuddles sometimes and will happily have a snooze whilst sat on the humans. I do however also enjoy time to myself so will go off to sleep somewhere quietly in peace. I am very easygoing so would be fine with humans who have to go out to work during the day (as long as they are working to bring money home for presents for me!) I am only young and now have a chance to relive my kittenhood without worrying about having to look after kittens myself. I am still very playful, so would really like owners who are active and can play with me when I nicely demand them to, and give me the attention I deserve.

Home I am looking for…

I am looking for a home where I will be treated like the princess I definitely am, and will have all the attention and cuddles to myself!

I could live with children but I would prefer older children 10+. My carers think I would be fine with younger children, but I am a quiet girl so would much prefer to live in a quieter home please, where I can lounge around peacefully. I can imagine myself becoming best friends with an older child (or children) though and sleeping on their bed whilst “helping” with homework.

I would definitely prefer to be the only pet in the home. I can get a little worried around other cats and dogs are scary too, so would like it to be me only. Posy’s home with Posy’s humans!

I would enjoy to be able to venture outside to explore again in the future, so would like to have access to outdoors. However, I will need to be kept strictly indoors for at least 8 weeks while I settle into my new home and get used to my humans.

Medical history…

I am a young, healthy girl currently and have no health issues or concerns.

The sanctuary (or vets I was taken to when found) have no knowledge of any previous treatment I have had, so they believe I have never recieved any or had any illnesses.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
