My story so far…

Hi, my name is Tammy. I was brought to the sanctuary after I was found stray in a garden. The humans here tried to contact my owners using the phone numbers on my microchip but sadly they were not working, they then visited the home registered to my chip but there was no answer. They posted a letter through the door and were later contacted by the person who lived there to say they did not own a cat. My carers are unsure whether my owners had moved and not updated my microchip details or whether I did live at that address still, but was no longer wanted.

I am a very friendly girl who does love fuss, attention and cuddles, but I also appreciate my own company. If I am fed up and want some time to myself, I may let you know with a gentle swipe. Please don’t take this as me being naughty! I am a good girl, I just sometimes want a bit of peace and quiet on my own.

Home I am looking for…

I have mixed with other cats here at the sanctuary and do get along with some well, I can be a little choosey though and although I like playing with the younger cats here, I do get a bit fed up with them when they get on my nerves. I would be happy to live with another cat, but would also like to live in a home with enough space for us to be away from each other when we please.

I could potentially live with a dog who is calm and used to cats (has lived with cats before), but it may take me a little while to get used to them so please be patient. I could happily live with children, but only children 6 years+ who are used to cats and will understand that I may want my own space sometimes and to listen to me when I ask for this.

I could happily live as an indoor only cat providing my new humans make sure I have lots of toys, scratch posts/trees etc to keep me entertained and happy. I could also have safe access to outside after an initial settling in period of at least 8 weeks.

Medical history…

I am a healthy young girl and currently have no known health issues or concerns.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.

Forms lacking in detail or with questions unanswered may not be considered, we need to ensure we are matching our cats to the right home for them.
